Typographer and illustrator Jessica Hische drops a hand-crafted decorative initial cap on her site daily. I'm constantly changing my mind on which F I like the best. Today it's the swirly one with the light pink.

Beatrice



It was only a matter of time (three days in) before I posted a photo of my dog, Beatrice. My husband and I both grew up with Cocker Spaniels, so the choice was clear when it was time to pick out a breed. She's the best (except when she doesn't play with other dogs at puppy playgroup and we get called out in front of everyone else). And yes, I know she looks like a Cockapoo here. Don't worry - it's been sheared since this photo (still cuter when it's shaggy).
